Our Story

Ever since I can remember, football has been my passion. I have fond memories of growing up and waking up on Saturday mornings excited to watch College Gameday and endless hours of football until going to bed. I grew up watching Bishop England High School football on Friday nights, dreaming of a day when I could be the starting quarterback and hopefully help lead our team to a state championship before going to play for my dream college - Notre Dame. I worked extremely hard during middle school and high school to make that dream a reality. I was fortunate enough to be awarded All-Region, All-State, All-Lowcountry, and other accolades while helping lead my team to our first football state championship in school history. However, I did not receive an offer to play at the University of Notre Dame - I landed at Charleston Southern University - a FCS program that had won 0 games the previous year.

I was blessed to receive a full scholarship from Charleston Southern University. Before injuring my throwing shoulder my redshirt sophomore year, I was one of the top quarterbacks in the Big South Conference, being awarded multiple Player of the Week honors and named the Big South Freshman of the Year. After injuring my shoulder, I mostly played a back-up role for the remainder of my two years with limited game experience. However, due to injuries to other quarterbacks on our roster, I was able to play during our program’s first-ever FCS playoff appearance and help lead our team to victory. Although I lost half of my college career to injury, I was able to receive an incredible quarterback education from then Head Coach Jamey Chadwell (2020 AP Coach of the Year, Coastal Carolina), Mark Tucker (former Charleston Southern Head Coach) and Willy Korn (Offensive Coordinator, Coastal Carolina).

After graduating, I knew immediately that I had to get into coaching. I started volunteering at my former high school as the Junior Varsity Offensive Coordinator and Quarterback Coach before being promoted to those roles at the Varsity level. After a few years of coaching, I knew that I wanted to do more. I wanted to provide specialized training for young quarterbacks that had a passion for the position and wanted to maximize their abilities. I wanted to provide those quarterbacks the opportunity that I did not have during my middle school and high school days. I wanted to provide knowledge and expertise that I learned at the college level to kids at a young age. I started Lowcountry Quarterback Academy in 2019 in hopes to do all of those things listed above. Since then, we have been able to reach out and help hundreds of young quarterbacks develop their path to reaching their goals.

At Lowcountry Quarterback Academy, we want to make an everlasting impact on our clients. We design every session to maximize our client’s potential and realize individual goals. We are here for the duration of the journey. Let us know how we can serve you and get you to where you want to go.
